The body of the doctor attached to the Badulla Hospital who was reported missing has been found on a rock near the Mapakadawewa area in Mahiyanganaya. An anesthesiologist attached to the Badulla Teaching Hospital was reported missing, since yesterday (23), according to police.
Police investigations revealed that the doctor’s car was captured on CCTV cameras in the Meegahakiula area, travelling towards Mahiyanganaya.
Further investigations found the doctor’s car last night abandoned in the Mapakada Wewa area near the 17th Mile Post along the Badulla–Mahiyanganaya canal road.
