State Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna has been elected as the new chairman of the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA).
Meanwhile, MPs Tissa Attanayake, Kabir Hashim, Niroshan Perera, J. C. Alawathuwala, Ashok Abeysinghe, Sivagnanam Shritharan, Hector Appuhamy, M. Udayakumar, Weerasumana Weerasinghe, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya have been nominated to serve in the committee.
