DMC assures A/L students will not be impacted by adverse weather

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has assured that all required measures are being taken to ensure that students sitting for the 2023 G.C.E Advanced Level examination are able to travel to their respective examination centres, despite the prevailing inclement weather.

Speaking to the media today (02 Jan.), the Director General of the DMC (Retd.) Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe explained that efforts are underway by the DMC, together with the Tri-Forces,  police and other agencies to ensure that students from all 25 districts will be able to travel to their respective examination centres and sit for the 2023 A/L exam without any hindrances.

The 2023 G.C.E Advanced Level examination is slated to be held from 04 – 31 January, at 2,298 examination centres across the island.
