Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe warned that Sri Lanka might topple like the KDU bus which was involved in an accident recently killing 2 students and injuring several others.
He said that Sri Lanka needs experienced people to run the country and the public must keep that in mind at the Parliament election.
Wickremesinghe said that he has served his time in Parliament and now it is time for others to take over.
He said that only those contesting under the gas cylinder symbol have the experience to run the country.
The former President warned that if inexperienced people are elected then the country might topple like the KDU bus.
Two students from the General Sir John Kotelawala Defense University (KDU) were killed and at least 35 others sustained injuries when a bus transporting them crashed and toppled on Friday.
