Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena and Nazeer Ahamed were sworn in as provincial governors on Thursday (02), the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
Accordingly, Abeywardena took oaths as the Southern Province’s governor while Ahamed took oaths as the North Central Province’s governor.
The newly appointed governors were sworn in before President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
