The book “The Scientific Art of Karate: Power, Precision, Principle & Leadership”, authored by *Anto Dinesh, was launched yesterday in Athlone, Ireland.
The chief guest, *Councillor Frankie Keena, officially launched the book by presenting the first copy. The event was chaired by Kandheepan Somasooriyasingam, a Board member of the Shotokan Karate Academy International in Ireland.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate, Anto Dinesh has attained advanced levels of expertise in the martial arts through direct training under internationally recognised masters. He attained the Shihan title in the United States in 2012 and in Japan in 2017, and the Kyoshi title in the United States in 2020. after successfully completing the relevant high level Dan diploma examinations.
Anto Dinesh has also authored and published two previous books: “Martial Arts Historical & Technical” and “The Art of Karate – The Path to Recognition.”
A member of the *Japan Karate Federation (JKF), Anto Dinesh previously served as Chairman of the National Karate Selection Committee of Sri Lanka, which was responsible for selecting the national karate team. He is also a recognised karate judge and referee.
